The mission of Walt Whitman Middle School is to provide students with a strong academic foundation rooted in STEAM education that equips them with the confidence, knowledge and skill to achieve high proficiency and mastery.
We believe that when immersed in a joyous, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment that fosters critical thinking, student voice, inquiry and discovery all students will develop 21st Century skills to succeed.
